So, You Wanna Be a Rock Star?

Music is meant to be shared, but most conventional music lessons are one on one. Rock band is a way to enhance a student’s musical experience by exposing them to performing within the dynamic of an actual music group. These days, we are heavily influenced by numerous reality TV shows which often feature a wide variety of amateur musical talent.  Who among us has not at some point in time dreamed of fame, and wouldn’t love the applause? Participants in the Rock Band Projects get to experience the excitement of being a Star, performing in front of a live audience, but also learn the work it takes to be a part of a team and put together a mini-set for a show.  What makes our program both unique and exciting is that the Rock Band members are mentored by professional instructors and facilitators who not only have the pre-requisite musical certifications but who also have real-life and current experience as active members in rock bands throughout Mississauga and the GTA.
